Admission Arrangements
All of our pupils have or are being assessed for an Education, Health and Care Plan or a Statement. Thurrock admissions are managed through the Local Authority SEN team. We do admit pupils from outside of Thurrock and these requests need to be made by the pupils home Local Authority directly to the Academy.

Exam and Assessment Results
None of the pupils at Beacon Hill are entered for formal age related testing although teacher assessment data is submitted to the DFE using the current P Scale assessment materials. Click for the link to the national tables.

Curriculum
All pupils follow a personalised curriculum but the approach and focus is different as they progress through the four different departments within the school – Early years, Primary, Secondary and Post 16.

Appointments will be subject to the receipt of satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS, including, where necessary, an overseas check. (Certificate of Good Conduct)
